Give teeth a chance: CURODONT™ REPAIR at the EAPD conference

At the biennially conference of the European Academy of Paediatric Dentistry (EAPD)  June 20th-23rd 2018 in Lugano, a dedicated session will be held on non-invasive caries treatment with CURODONT™ REPAIR / REGENAMEL®*.

Guided enamel regeneration (GER) with CURODONT™ REPAIR* provides the missing link between prevention and invasive restorative approaches. It ensures the effective treatment of early carious lesions, promotes in-depth regeneration of the enamel and minimises the need for invasive interventions.

In this session two experts share their experience with this non-invasive caries treatment and will discuss the benefits and limits.

Prof. Dr. Christian H. Splieth, Head of the Department for Preventive and Paediatric Dentistry at the University of Greifswald (DE), presents the results of his study in which he found the regenerative method with CURODONT™ REPAIR and fluoride to be a simple, safe, and non-invasive approach for the efficient management of early carious lesions, and a more effective method for treating caries than the commonly adopted clinical approach of fluoride treatment alone.

Dr. Denisa Godenzi from the Chur Paediatric Dental Clinic (CH) describes her positive experience with this method, based on the results of over 200 cases treated in 4 years at the Pediatric & School Dental Clinic Chur.

*CURODONT™ REPAIR is marketed in Switzerland under the name REGENAMEL®
